Glenn Berry, B.Sc. (Spec.), P.Geol.,
Principal Consultant| Director
As Principal Environmental Geologist and Director of Atma Environmental, Glenn has over 24 years direct experience in environmental consulting in Australia and overseas ranging from potable water well installations to underground storage tank cleanups to environmental screening of large corporate land portfolios. Glenn has overseen the operations and management of hundreds of contaminated land assessment, remediation, and other projects since inception of the company in Australia in 1996.
Rory McPhillips, B.Sc. (Hons.) (Environmental Science)
Senior Environmental Project Manager.
Rory graduated from Lancaster University, England. While there, he successfully completed a dissertation on the hydrogeology of the Ribble Valley in the north west of England. Post graduation, Rory worked in Ireland as a Geotechnical Engineer, managing site operations and undertaking geophysical ground investigations. Rory joined the Atma team in 2007 and since then had managed a number of our more complex contaminated land and groundwater projects, including site remediation.
Tim Robson, B.Env.Sc, B.Biol.Sc.
Environmental Project Manager.
Tim graduated from La Trobe University with a double degree in Environmental Science and Biological Sciences. During his degree, he worked for 3 months monitoring surface water in the Wimmera Catchment. His position following University, at a leading Melbourne laboratory, gave Tim a terrific depth of hands on experience with groundwater sampling techniques. Tim subsequently joined Atma Environmental in 2007, where his substantial groundwater sampling experience has been put to full use, on hydrogeological investigations being undertaken by Atma Environmental.
Kane Church, B.App.Sc. (Hons.) (Geol.)
Senior Environmental Project Manager
Kane graduated from the University of Ballarat in 2004 where he was awarded a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exploration and Geology) Degree. Kane’s went on to employment with the Department of Primary Industries - duties consisting of: surface water monitoring, groundwater monitoring/hydrogeology and report writing & mapping. He later joined Atma Environmental in 2005 as a Jr. Environmental Consultant reporting to our Hydro geologist. An outstanding professional, Kane was project managing serious programs when he left a few years later for some travel and a year on the Environmental Auditing Team of a major consulting organisation. Re-joining Atma Environmental in 2009, Kane contributes as one of our highly-qualified Senior Environmental Project Managers.
John Scott, B. Env. Eng. (Hons.) (Environmental Engineering)
Graduate Environmental Consultant
John graduated from RMIT University in November 2010. He joined Atma Environmental in mid-2010 as a undergraduate part-time Environmental Consultant and has since become a full-time Graduate Environmental Consultant. He brought with him seven months work experience within the Water Operations Group at Yarra Valley Water managing the Large Mains Shutdown Program. In addition, his previous experience for ‘Land Safe’ included the completion of land capability assessments for onsite wastewater disposal (soil profile analysis, permeability testing, soil surveying and mapping, and desktop investigations). John now manages various environmental projects and contributes greatly to all of our larger, more complex investigations.
